How to Create Trending Anime Videos Using CapCut and PhotoRoom

Friends, in today’s tutorial we will learn how to create anime-style videos that are currently trending on Instagram. Watch the process carefully because editing these anime videos is actually very easy.

Step 1: Shoot Your Raw Video

First, you need to shoot a simple video as shown in my example. Once you have your raw footage, open the CapCut application to begin editing.

Step 2: Start a New Project in CapCut

Open CapCut and tap on New Project. Add your lyrics video first. After that, add your main video — the one you just shot — as an overlay. Place it in full screen mode.

Step 3: Take a Screenshot for Background Removal

Find the correct moment in your video and take a screenshot. The reason for this screenshot is that you will remove its background. Now, split the extra parts of the video and delete them.

Step 4: Remove Background in PhotoRoom

Go to the PhotoRoom app and upload your screenshot. Wait a few seconds and the app will automatically remove the background. Tap on the “X” button and download the PNG file.

Step 5: Add PNG to CapCut

Return to CapCut and add the PNG photo as an overlay. Adjust the placement carefully and align it with your video. Use keyframes to animate the PNG photo. For example, set a keyframe at the start and another one slightly later, then move the photo downwards. This creates a smooth motion effect.

Step 6: Add More Overlays

Now add additional PNG overlays (such as grass or character effects). Use keyframes again to position and animate these overlays. For example, you can place grass at the bottom and animate it during the video. I’ll also provide some overlays on my Telegram channel — you can download them and use them the same way.

Step 7: Apply Final Effects

After adding overlays, go to the Video Effects section in CapCut. Search for an effect called Flame Web and apply it to your video. Adjust it slightly according to your preference. This will give your video a unique anime-style look.

Final Result

That’s it! Your anime-style video is now complete. This method is very simple and anyone can do it with practice. If you liked this tutorial, don’t forget to like the video and subscribe to the channel for more editing tips.
